Over 250 ethnic groups exist in Nigeria of which 62% represent two thirds of the population under the age of 25 years and 45% are under the age of 15 years. Most of this population of youths live on the streets without care and supervision, which endangers their lives and jeopardize their future. Children rescued from the streets by FLC team, are rehabilated through the acquisition of living skills, character development and holistic education. Thereafter, reintegrated into society as catalysts of transformational change. Every child at Family Life Care Center is given free shelter, feeding, clothing; health care and opportunities to develop their talents in sports and creative arts, from primary, secondary to tertiary level.
